My name is Flor, and Umenie is my lingerie design business.
It all started in December 2015 while I was studying Fashion Design at Universidad de Buenos Aires and taking various lingerie courses.
I couldn’t find lingerie that fit me because I had a small bust, and most of the options were for children. That’s how I decided to create my own brand, with great support from my family.
The name, Umenie, means "ART" in Slovak and came up during a family dinner. My mother is a sculptor, and she inspired me to find a name that reflects our passion for art.
At Umenie, I strive to make you feel comfortable and beautiful 24 hours a day. The garments are designed to adapt to every moment of your life, from the everyday to the special occasions. For me, it is essential that all women who love romance and sensuality find pieces that represent us and fit into our daily lives.
In September 2023, I launched a special bridal line in collaboration with Marian, the designer and founder of Euforia Mia, a brand known for its incredible civil wedding dresses
